👀I made 2 apps in under an hour (+ a free VA workshop + a home reset)

Happy Friday Reader!

This week was a mix of small wins and gentle reminders.

💻 I built two working apps—real, functional tools—in under an hour using Bolt.new. It’s free to start and surprisingly simple once you get into it.

🧹 I also stared at the clutter in my room (again), felt overwhelmed (again), and needed a serious reset. 😅

So if you’re in a season where progress feels slow or messy… here are a few free things to help you feel more grounded and more capable:

🛠️ Want to test one of my new apps? I made a Side Hustle Bingo Card Generator this week as part of my $10K in 100 Days Challenge.

They still need testing—but they work! If you’d like to try one out and give me feedback, just hit reply and say “Send me the bingo card” I’d love your thoughts.

📩 Curious about making money as a Virtual Assistant? Tomorrow is your chance! The $1K VA Workshop with Sadie Smiley is happening Saturday, July 12th—and it’s 100% free.

This one-hour live workshop covers:

✔️ The easiest VA services to offer (even if you’re brand new)

✔️ How to set your rates and attract paying clients

✔️ The exact steps to make your first $1K from admin, digital, or branding skills

Can’t make it live? There’s a replay if you register in time.

🏠 Need a judgment-free nudge to tidy your space? I’ve been struggling to keep my place clean—especially when I’m off my meds. So if you’re in the same boat, Kristen’s retreat might help you feel less alone:

👉 Tidy Up Your Home & Life Mini-Retreat It’s a gentle, 3-day free resource to help you reset your relationship with your home.

This week reminded me: You don’t need a perfect plan to make progress. Just pick one thing that feels doable—and start there.

Cheering you on,

— Robyn The Retire Happy Club

Hey hey Reader, There are certain non-negotiables in my life—things that I stand firm on, no matter what. They keep me grounded and ensure that I’m always moving toward the life I want to build. #1 – Prioritizing Financial Independence No matter what stage of life you’re in, financial security is the foundation for freedom. I believe in making intentional financial choices today so that the future version of you can thrive without stress or uncertainty. #2 – Community Over Competition I...

Hey hey Reader👋 It’s time to talk about something that's been on my mind. A financial myth that just doesn’t sit right. Everywhere I turn, I hear experts telling women: “Save like crazy, sacrifice today, and retire happy someday.” Here’s the thing—I don’t agree. Sacrificing everything now doesn’t guarantee happiness later. Life is happening right now, and squeezing out every ounce of joy today to maybe enjoy it later makes no sense. Do you respect financial discipline? Sure. Me too. But let’s...
